Working Surface sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising. It has no accounts, and it collects no names or email addresses.
A question typed into Ask is sent to TypeSafe, whose model picks the links, and to Google, whose Gemini model writes the answer. Under Google's terms for its free service, questions may be used to improve Google's products, and human reviewers may read them. Do not type personal or confidential information.
Working Surface does not store the questions. The conversation is kept in the visitor's own browser and is cleared when the tab is closed. To limit misuse, the service counts the requests from each internet address for one minute.
Ask is not available in the European Economic Area, Switzerland or the United Kingdom.
Cloudflare serves the site and keeps standard technical logs of requests. The Ask service logs its errors, not the questions.
The typefaces load from Google Fonts, so Google receives a visitor's internet address when a page loads.

Hello. Ask how product, design and engineering teams work with AI agents. The answer comes only from the 78 links on this site.
Jev picks the links; Gemini writes the answer from them only. They can be wrong. Do not type personal information: questions go to TypeSafe and Google. How Ask works · Privacy
